The Nursery is open Monday to Friday all year, excluding bank holidays.
In order for your child to settle into nursery life and benefit from their attendance, we request that your child attends a minimum of two sessions per week. This could be one full day, two mornings or two afternoons.
Meals
Breakfast (8:30 am - 8:45 am) - Choice of cereals or toast.
Mid-morning break (10:30 am) - Milk, fresh fruit, toast and biscuit.
Lunch (11:45 am - 12:30 pm) - Freshly prepared home cooked 2 course meal.
Tea (4:00 pm) - Milk, a variety of sandwiches or a hot meal, fresh fruit, cakes and crudities.
Our food is prepared each day by the nursery's chef using quality ingredients and fresh produce where possible. The menu is varied and balanced using herbs, spices and garlic with no added salt.
A daily menu is displayed in the main reception area.
Please inform us on the registration form of any food allergies or special dietary needs your child has. We will then complete a comprehensive Risk Assessment relating to your child's requirements.
"Staff have taken steps to promote healthy eating by providing children with healthy options at snack time such as dried or fresh fruit. Meals are freshly prepared and most days include a selection of vegetables. Children with special dietary requirements are offered suitable alternatives". Ofsted, November '06
